Care Instructions and Maintenance

Here you can find general care instructions for fursuits and fursuit parts. Once your commission is complete, I will send you care instructions specifically for your commission.

General Fursuit Care:

The most important thing is that you should NEVER USE HEAT. Faux fur is essentially plastic, and will melt with heat. When using water, make sure it’s always cold and try not to leave your fursuit in a hot car.

Store your fursuit in a cool, dry area. Heat and pressure will crease the fur, so be careful not to crush it long term.

To quickly disinfect any part of the fursuit, spray the inside with either fursuit spray, or isopropyl alcohol diluted with water. Make sure it is completely dry before storing or wearing.

You can also spot clean any part of the fursuit with a little gentle detergent and water on a cloth, then go over it with a cloth with just water.

Do not iron or tumble dry any part of the fursuit.

Do not leave the zipper undone during storage or transport.

Bodysuits, sheaths, hand paws and anything that can have the stuffing removed can go in the washing machine. Turn the bodysuit inside out and zip it up. Digitigrade padding is removable, pull out the stuffing from the four pockets, they are kept closed with velcro. Use a cold, gentle wash and liquid detergent. Hang the suit up indoors to dry. Replace the stuffing after the bodysuit is completely dry.

The bodysuit should ALWAYS be stored zipped up. Be gentle and patient with the zipper, part the fur and don’t get fur jammed in the zipper

The underwear can go in the washing machine. Use a cold, gentle wash and liquid detergent. Hang them up to dry. Make sure they are completely dry before storing.

Do not iron or tumble dry the underwear.

Macro Strap-On Assembly:

The macro is a bit of a balancing act. There are a few different parts: The main piece (which is composed of the cock and balls,) the metal pole (which has a foam base and a strap attached to it,) and the zipper piece.

You will need: Stuffing for the cock. Roughly 1kg of polyfill should do it!

To assemble, first thread the straps on the metal pole through the slits in the middle of the zipper piece. Make sure the part with the raw zipper edge is up against the foam.

Stuff the cock with the stuffing. Start with the head and work your way down the shaft.

Once the entire shaft is stuffed, insert the metal rod. Keep it near the top of the shaft and try to get the end all the way to the head.

Next zip up the zipper. On the zipper piece, the zip itself should be at the bottom and line up with the end of the zipper on the balls. Align them and carefully start zipping. Be patient and make sure not to get fur caught in the zip.

Now that everything is stuffed and zipped up, you should have a giant dick with some straps coming out of the back. The strap is adjustable, so the first time you put it on there will be some trial and error to get it to your size. To get the dick to stand erect, you want it as tight as possible. Strap it around your waist or hips.

To put the boxers on, push the head of the dick in on itself, to collapse the internal metal pole. Carefully stuff the dick and balls into the pouch of the boxers. You can either put the boxers on while you’re already wearing the dick, or before you put it on. Make sure you adjust it to make the bulge symmetrical.
